Army Cadet Force (ACF)

The Army Cadet Force, in Anglesea Road, Orpington, is run by volunteer ACF instructors and civilian instructors. At least 50 young cadets, between 12 & 18 yrs old, meet twice a week  to learn army discipline and skills (i.e. drill, marching, shooting, sports etc) Cadets are also given the opportunity to join expeditions, exchanges and annual camps.

ACF helps young people to become more rounded individuals, make friends and gain internationally recognised vocational qualifications (i.e. leadership, first aid, Duke of Edinburgh awards etc). These can all benefit the cadets enormously when moving on to employment or further education.

give2give was delighted to donate £1,500 to 103 Company in Orpington to pay for much needed adventure training equipment, waterproof clothing and to provide financial support for the less well off members to participate in events and weekend camps.
