Philip Atkinson

Philip lives in Hayes and has cerebral palsy (Quadriplegia).  This, sadly, affects his entire body and as a result he is dependent upon the use of an electric wheelchair. Additionally, in order for Philip to transfer from his wheelchair to his bed and vice versa, it is essential for him to have a hoist in his bedroom. There is a further hoist in his bathroom to make it easier for Philip to bath regularly. It would be impossible for Philip’s carers to manage his daily routine without these two hoists. Unfortunately one of these two electric hoists broke recently and couldn’t be repaired.
