T.S. Narvik

The T.S. Narvik in Bromley Common is a self funding Sea Cadet Unit for boys and girls aged 12-18. The Unit has been in existence for over 70 years and is also used regularly by retired naval serviceman and women and submariners.

Through adventurous activities and education the T.S. Narvik sets its sights on equipping Cadets with essential life skills, personal discipline, leadership skills and the ability to work together with their peers, which will hold them in good stead for whatever career they pursue.

The T.S. Narvik’s “Parents Committee” and supporters have already worked extremely hard and innovatively to raise funds for a newer minibus, but with the help of £2,500 of funding from give2give it has finally been possible for the Unit to take delivery of their new 17 seater bus.

Alan Marsh, the Chairman of the T.S. Narvik thanked give2give and its patrons for supporting the Unit so generously. He said that local children and retired serviceman and women would benefit enormously from visits to other naval units and activities.
