give2give relies on donations to help good causes across the Borough of Bromley. Click here to see full details of who we have helped and how. We always need donations of good quality clothes, bric-a-brac, electrical items and furniture, for example:
Clothes and bric-a-brac
Clothes, shoes, bags, hats, gloves, scarves, jewellery, vases, pictures, china, ornaments, clocks, books, cd’s, dvd’s and other nicknacks etc etc
Furniture
- Pine furniture
- Tables and chairs
- Dining chairs and fire side chairs
- Sofas, sofa beds and three piece suites
- Coffee tables
- Clean bedroom furniture
- Beds, mattresses and bed frames (without marks or stains on the mattress)
- Electric chairs and beds (in working order)
- And any other saleable and/or interesting items
Please note that all soft furnishings must comply with the 1988 Fire and Furnishings Act. This is usually indicated by a white label with green writing attached to the furniture, or in the case of mattresses, a white and blue label attached to the rim of the mattress.
Electrical items
- Flat screen televisions
- Fridges
- Freezers
- Washing machines
- Tumble dryers
Please note that all electrical items must be under 5 years old, in good working order and able to pass a Portable Appliance Test (PAT).

There are a number of items that we are unable to accept:
- Soft furnishing (e.g. sofas, mattresses and dining chairs) which do not comply with the 1988 Fire and Furnishings Act
- Children’s car seats
- Old style TV’s
- Pianos
