Hayesford Park and Hayes Christmas Lights

On November 25th Hayes held its Christmas lights switch on festivities. The annual event is made possible only by the hard work of a committee of local residents and Hayes traders. The event gets better year after year, and this year was no exception; a great turn out of adults and children, a wonderful festive atmosphere and a fantastic street market. give2give was delighted to donate £300 (for the third year running) to start the funds off for next year’s lights.

This year give2give also donated £300 to help extend the Christmas lights in the Letchworth Drive shopping precinct. The lights were turned on at a special Christmas Fayre held on the 18th November. (arranged by the Hayesford Park Christmas lights committee). It was a very enjoyable community event for all ages. The switch on was followed by Father Christmas creating a snow storm that the children loved! And Elvis belted out a tune or two!
