give2give has a strong commitment to looking after the environment, now and in the future.

Through its re-use and recycling activities give2give is making a positive difference to the local environment in Bromley by reducing the amount of furniture and rubbish that goes to landfill each year.

In 2009 give2give was very proud to win the “Green Business” award and was also the “Overall Winner” at Bromley Council’s Environmental Awards. We are delighted to say that we have been nominated again for the 2011 “Commitment to the Community” and “Best Business for Sustainability” awards.

give2give has an Environmental Policy which focuses on reducing its impact on the environment. All our promotional materials are printed on 100% recycled paper and we purchase products from sustainable sources wherever possible.

We are also members of the London Community Resource Network (LCRN) and of London Re-Use Ltd. We are currently working with like-minded partners to help expand the amount of re-use activity by producing a strategy for re-use across south east London.

By offering good quality second-hand furniture for sale we are helping the environment and local people too by providing a great source of affordable furniture.

give2give works with a local textile recycling company to recycle clothing that cannot be resold.
